Due to the continuous development of technological innovation, more affordable telematic advancements have been adopted to vehicles, including GPS, Bluetooth Wi-Fi, Cellular and Satellite Radio. With the application of communication technology and increased customer demands of telematic services, RF communication systems have become integral components of today’s automobiles.

NQCOMM provides RF connectors and adapters, which meet industry standards, with various mechanical and color codes, frequency ranges and structural features. With different configurations and straight/right angle, edge-launch and PCB designs, the connectors are suitable for multiple coaxial cables, including RG-58, RG-174, RG-316, RG-178 and other micro cables.

Applications:

  • Bluetooth: a wireless technology for simplifying communications between devices and the Internet
  • Cellular: personal communication systems that divide a geographic region into sections
  • DSRC: Dedicated Short-Range Communications, involving vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications
  • GPS: Global Positioning System, a satellite-based radio-navigation system that provides geolocation and time information
  • Satellite Radio: broadcasting-satellite service works by transmitting its signal from a ground-based station to satellites
  • SMR: Specialized Mobile Radio, an analog or digital trunked two-way radio system, operated by a service in the VHF, 220, UHF, 700, 800 or 900 MHz bands.
  • Wi-Fi: a wireless networking technology used for local area networking of devices and Internet access
  • Wireless Vehicle Controls: remote starting, keyless entry, remote locking/unlocking, etc. based on near field communications
